Best eSIM for Turkey and Greece
Short answer
The awkward one. Greece is in the EU and Turkey is not, so plans built for one routinely fail in the other.
One plan or two, priced live
One plan wins. Measured at a comparable trip size (at least 3 GB over 7+ days), the cheapest eSIM covering Turkey and Greece together is $7.25, against $7.66 for two single-country plans — cheaper by $0.41, and it saves managing two eSIMs across a border.

Why this pairing needs thought
This pairing catches out more travellers than any other in Europe. Greece sits inside EU roaming, so a Europe bundle covers it comfortably. Turkey does not, and a great many plans sold as covering Europe exclude it entirely — often without saying so prominently. People buy one plan for a two-country trip, cross the Aegean, and find themselves offline.
Do not assume a Europe plan spans both. Either buy a bundle that names Turkey and Greece explicitly in its coverage list, or buy two single-country plans and compare the combined cost. With Turkey involved, buying separately often works out cheaper than a regional bundle stretched to include a non-EU country.

Turkey and Greece: common questions
Coverage is read from each plan's own country list at page load, so “covers the whole trip” means the plan names every country — not that it is marketed for the region. Always reconfirm at checkout. Updated for 2026.
